The Whole Life Engineering (WLE) team proactively seeks and applies innovative, customer - focused solutions for superior mission support and system analysis from concept to disposal for new and legacy, domestic and international programs. The RMD Engineering Cross Product team encompasses all system engineering aspects of the Engineering V throughout the product lifecycle. We are responsible for defining systems of systems, sensors, effectors, and command & control and integrating subsystems and products to deliver and sustain the industrys most advanced end-to-end solutions.
The Engineering Intelligence Analysis (EIA) Team supports Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) programs by pursuing synergies between the technical disciplines.Our responsibilities include providing the foundation for timely delivery of actionable data to our program customers, in addition to supporting the Engineering function by developing and/or maintaining software tools used for data analysis and tracking.
We are looking for an Engineering Intelligence Analyst II to join our Reliability team, located in Tucson, AZ
Responsibilities include:
Interpreting data and analyzing results using advanced statistical techniques
Deploy automated solutions for process improvement
Regularly interacting with Engineering, Quality & Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, and Program Management for 'best-in-class" solutions
Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Lead/participate in cross functional projects and initiatives
Run and lead Failure Review Boards (FRB) and/or Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action (FRACA) activities
Being well versed in Information Technologies (IT) and Intellectual Property (IP) issues
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Required Skills:
2+ years experience performing statistical analysis and/or working with big data
Proven experience working with statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, Python, PowerBI, R, Tableau, JMP, Kinaxis, etc.)
US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
Four (4) years experience in reliability or statistics
Understand basic principles and concepts of information management
Basic understanding of reliability principles
General understanding of requirements, specifications, and regulations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working on/leading a team
Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems
Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Correction Action (FRACA) activities
Self-motivated and detail-oriented; ability to perform in fast paced, deadline driven environments with constantly changing priorities
Strong and effective organizational skills with ability prioritize tasks; ability to respond efficiently and effectively to time-critical issues
Ability to follow defined processes, in compliance with regulations
Expertise in MS Office Products
Experience with SAP and PRISM or similar database systems
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree. 8+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
