Lockheed Martin is seeking a Electronics Engineer for Fayetteville, NC

Support providing a wide variety of labor that includes managing, development, operation, support and maintenance sustainment of standard and nonstandard networks. Provides technical data, analysis and technical documentation for presentation of findings and vulnerabilities to the government. Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the government customer for the communications networks in support of the customers’ mission set. Provides technical expertise in development of training Period of Instruction (POI) and acts as the lead instructor for these courses that refine and enhance the associated Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)

Plans, manage, integrate, coordinate, and evaluate logistical actions required in support of standard and non-standard HUMINT, Special Operations LAN/WAN communications

Interfaces with commercial contractors, DoD and interagency to explore technology applications and initiate supporting studies, as required

Provides support to government POC’s for planning and acquiring support for Special Operations communications missions. This includes ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed and understood by all participating, ensuring that all planning and operational mission preparation will include the most current information on all Special Operations LAN/WAN communications related policies and regulations

Supports section meetings as required to provide expertise, advice, and guidance regarding standard and non-standard HUMINT Special Operations LAN/WAN communications TTP’s and training requirements. Identifies potential problem areas in training, de-confliction and approval process, and system employment and makes recommendations to program leadership; supports training events

Supports in the concept development necessary to policies for significantly new or precedent setting requirements; supports working groups created to resolve existing problems ensure interoperability and develop programs requiring innovative solutions

Maintains professional knowledge on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment and technological advances including but not limited to Wi-Fi, internet, cellular 3G and 4G LTE technologies, Over The Horizon (OTH) Networks such as VSATs and BGAN, web development as well as threats and vulnerabilities associated with these types of systems in order to recommend methods to enhance training and operations, through modification and application of evolving technology

Performs queries on appropriate systems to identify threats against currently fielded solutions. Once threats are identified will develop a systemic plan to alleviate the threat or recommend alternative solutions to the problem set. Will share information with all equities that may be affected by the threat

Basic Qualifications
Extensive knowledge from past experience developing and advising supervisors on Special Operations LAN/WAN communications documentation and supporting systems and programs

In-depth knowledge of U.S. Army, Joint, Inter-Agency, and Special Operations Forces (SOF) HUMINT and Special Operations LAN/WAN communications technology, related equipment, de-confliction and coordination procedures, capabilities and techniques

Experience and knowledge providing support to government POC’s for planning and acquiring support for Special Operations communications missions. This includes ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed and understood by all participating, ensuring that all planning and operational mission preparation will include the most current information on all Special Operations LAN/WAN communications related policies and regulations

Knowledge of current special communications tools and systems in use throughout US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)

Knowledge of the functions of system based equipment within the Section network

Technical knowledge of Special Operations Forces Tactics Techniques & Procedures (SOF TTPs), their application to unit training and requirements, and be able to recognize deficiencies to implement corrective measures

Technical knowledge of Information and technical system characteristics

Familiarity with military operations and requirements

This position requires a Top Secret Clearance
