Description:Littleton, CO:
Electronics Engineer, ASIC & FPGA Design, Communications System DSP will leverage their experience in ASIC and FPGA development, digital signal processing and communication theory in addition to perform the following tasks.
Participate as a senior member of a small technical team of ASIC/FPGA designers to achieve project goals.
Assist the project lead to establish development project plans and manage them to completion.
Derive specification based on customer requirements.
Develop RTL utilizing a hardware description language (e.g. VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog) and debug the design via simulation tools.
Perform synthesis and place and route (FPGA) or support foundry backend
development activities (ASIC).
Develop verification plans and approaches to support development.
Support technical reviews and be able to present to internal and external customers.

*Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance required for this role.

Basic Qualifications:
ASIC/FPGA design or verification experience

Desired Skills:
Subject Matter Expert in ASIC and FPGA development, digital signal processing and communication theory
Experience in protected communication signal processing applications
Experience with Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW) application
Experience in communication system signal processing (channelization, beamforming, waveform development)
Experience in the architecture definition, design, debug and test of FPGA
devices used in high reliability applications with minimal technical oversight.
Experienced in developing FPGAs/ASICs for high-reliability applications in
space environments
HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog for synthesis.
Experience evaluating Information Processing cores from multiple vendors and performing trade studies to determine optimal solution.
Experience developing with Xilinx FPGA/SoCs
Experiene leading a team of ASIC/FPGA Designers
Active TS/SCI Clearance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
