GTRIs Cooperative Education (co-op) program offers you extensive opportunities to participate in diverse scientific and technological endeavors, use state-of-the-art equipment, and rapidly improve your technical and leadership skills. The program allows you to alternate three semesters of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school.
The Aerospace Transportation and Advanced Systems Laboratory (ATAS) seeks a Student Assistant to assist in data analysis, algorithm development, and testing support starting spring 2021. Task include the analysis of already acquired sensor data, support in acquisition of new data, the evaluation of already existing algorithm, and support in the development of new ones. Additional activities may include research literature for current state of the art on a specific topic and assisting with report writing.

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
3.5 or higher GPA
Experience in Matlab, Python, and C
Familiarity with signal processing concepts
Experience with time series data and analysis
Willingness to both work on teams and progress tasks independently
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
20 hours per week
