Job Summary:

The Mission Capability Verification Center in White Sands, NM is searching for a qualified candidate to join the Effectors and Mission Support Team in support of Patriot data collection and analysis during various system and missile flight tests.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Two (2+) plus years of relevant Patriot missile flight tests.
  • Experience enforcing security and safety policies.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve in real time, meet deadlines, multi-task, work in a team environment, directly interface and communicate effectively with customers/management, and support the team across disciplines.
  • Familiarity with scripting.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB.
  • Experience with NISPOM security guidelines.
  • Must be able to travel to remote and domestic locations CONUS and OCONUS - to support program requirements.
  • Experience working in remote and hazardous environments with exposure to energized equipment, radar radiation hazards, and unexploded ordnance.
  • Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline.
  • This position can be an Electrical Engineer II (G07) or a Senior Electrical Engineer I (G08), based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility required for the position.




    Qualifications We Value:
  • Experience supporting missile flight test activities at White Sands Missile Range and other National Test Ranges in the United States and abroad.
  • Experience supporting missions to include setup, coordination, data analysis and tracking of non-tactical software load configurations.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, acting as an occasional Network Administrator for computer.

Additional Details:
This position requires either a U.S. Person or Non- U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Location Information:
This position is located at White Sands Missile Range. The majority of the supporting workforce live in the surrounding cities of Alamogordo, NM, Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, TX. One of the unique features of this area is being centrally located to summer (boating) and winter (skiing, snowboarding) activities.
