The Electrical Engineer within the Metrology Department will work under general supervision to advance metrology processes, including developing calibration methods, procedures and test systems, troubleshooting test systems and test equipment, and analyzing test systems and error sources.
U.S Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
This position can be Electrical Engineer II or Sr. Electrical Engineer I based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to technicians calibrating and troubleshooting test equipment and test systems
Develop preventative maintenance procedures
Identify and analyze magnitude of error sources contributing to measurement uncertainty
Review and approve Test Position Manuals and Test Error Analysis Reports
Develop calibration methods, processes, and capabilities
Review and approve Test Position Manuals and Test Error Analysis Reports

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics (with electronics coursework or experience), Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology or related engineering degree
Two (2) years engineering experience in one of the following: calibration, product test, or quality compliance
U.S. Citizenship is required
Sr. Electrical Engineer I
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics (with electronics coursework or experience), Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology or related engineering degree
Four (4) years engineering experience in one of the following: calibration, product test, or quality compliance
U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
Hands-on electrical / mechanical aptitude
Experience with RF/Microwave measurements and test equipment
Experience with test equipment and test system troubleshooting and repair
Software development in C, HTBasic
Knowledge of calibration quality standards
Active DOD Security Clearance
