Join our Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team within Strategic and Missile Defense in our Kings Bay, Georgia site. We are seeking an entry level Electrical Engineer Associate for our Test Equipment Engineering organization.

In this role you will:

Provide engineering support associated with X-Ray operations at the Radiographic Inspection Building (RIB) and in failure diagnosis of High Energy Computed Tomography (HECT) systems and low energy X-Ray systems as well as the diagnosis and repair of console electronic subcomponents.
Coordinate integrated testing activities with RIB manufacturing, customer, and outside organizations.
Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test programs.
Take an active role in installation, maintenance, and checkout of required test equipment and software.
Investigate system problems and failures discovered during test activities.
Initiate and lead corrective action investigations and determine final corrective action on X-ray consoles.
Initiate corrective action documentation within authorized reporting systems.
Prepare/proof associated documentation for automatic and manual test procedures.
Analyze test results and prepare subsequent reports, analyze failed parts and initiate investigations of those failed parts.

This job will require working primarily second shift with overtime as required, however the potential exists for first shift work as well. Occasional travel will be required to other Lockheed Martin sites.

This position requires an Interim Secret Clearance to start. U.S. Citizenship required. A current / active clearance is preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET) from an accredited college.
You will be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start.
Be willing to work around ordnance.
Have the willingness and ability to participate in the Navy's radiological control program.
US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and/or maintain your Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
Be able to develop, read, and understand electrical and electromechanical assembly drawings
Have proven experience trouble shooting electronic systems and subassemblies and determining possible cause of failure, relevant college coursework experience may be considered.
Experience in radiography.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office tools
