We are seeking an outstanding and experienced Marketing Specialist to help drive marketing initiatives for Apple Education in the Latin America region. Content evaluation, evangelism, and marketing will be this candidate's every day task. Providing a great service to teachers and learners everywhere will be your absolute passion. The ideal candidate is passionate about education content and technology and is excited to let the world know about the incredible resources that Apple offers to help make life easier for teachers, and make learning more engaging and fun for students.

Reporting into the Education Marketing Lead for Latin America, you will be responsible for the timely publication of key assets and ensure that our education marketing programs, communications and content are messaged in a locally meaningful way for our Latin American customers. You are a strong communicator, with a solid experience working on significant localization projects, event management, project management and budget maintenance, ideally in an education context

You will be based in either Miami or Mexico

Key Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills and experience
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and have the ability to prioritize urgent issues
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Works with vendor partners to localize education content for both Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese markets
  • Demonstrated track record of managing cross-functional projects working with digital assets
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail
  • Detailed knowledge of translation & localization processes
  • Technical acumen and familiarity with managing digital assets
  • Experience with web development/publishing and video production is an asset
  • Highly proficient with Apple software/tools and/or a strong capacity for learning new software programs
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, proficiency in Portuguese is a plus
  • Education experience ideal (consultant, teacher, professional development coordinator)
  • 7 to 10 years experience in an education, editorial, content creation and/or marketing role
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region
  • Deep understanding of Mexican and/or Latin American Curriculum in K12- Higher Ed
  • Creative thinker and strong influencer
  • Familiarity with education technology


In this role, you will..

Coordinate projects with marketing, content operations, translation vendors, Education sales teams, government affairs among other departments across Apple

Brief local vendors and WW vendor management teams on projects, ensuring they have detailed scope and business context, and a clear understanding of all deliverables and timelines

Support education go-to-market events and strategic initiatives in-country to help develop awareness around Apple's Education programs, including Apple Teacher, Apple Distinguished Educators, Everyone Can Code and Everyone Can Create programs

Own the content localization and coordination efforts for Education in Latin America as it pertains to Apple products and programs for both internal and external use

Help draft internal communications on Education program updates

Work closely with local and WW Apple teams to strategize on development of localized marketing materials for the Latin American market including: websites, keynote presentations, white papers, iBooks Author books, social media content, email and web-based invitations (HTML), technical documents, channel materials/assets, and videos

Work closely with our 3rd party localization and production vendors to plan and manage the end-to-end production of localized materials including in-country validation.

Ensure all content is cleared and market-ready, including identification of country-specific alts for Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese as needed

Support all video localization production including subtitling, transcription and voiceover

Maintain and oversee methodical file archiving of original source and final localized files

Once content is cleared, ensure meaningful content is available for upload into Apple's internal sales database- Apple Sales Web

Support Twitter campaigns in 3 different markets

Define strategic prioritization of projects and manage traffic schedules, scope and cost to accurately forecast resources against workload

Education & Experience
