CDAS is hiring a display architect to work as part of a highly dynamic and diverse display domain team to define future display and touch technologies for client products, as well as collaborate with internal and external partners to drive end-to-end platform development of latest innovations.

You will work with cross-group stakeholders distributed globally, requiring schedule flexibility to attend evening meetings and occasional travel.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Working closely with product architects, segment stakeholders and user-experience team to create and integrate new, emerging display and touch innovations.

  • Working closely with platform engineering teams and external companies to co-engineer the display and touch subsystems, including technical interaction with Intel's client customers on requirements.

  • Collaborate with product planning to align on platform development, integration, and validation activities.

  • Drive sample deliverables with cross-group stakeholders to ensure readiness for product launch.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Significant display and touch subsystem knowledge with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders and partners.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Adept at working collaboratively with external stakeholders and representing Intel outside the company.

  • The ability to prioritize competing tradeoffs with technical analysis of industry, technology trends and competing technologies.

  • Working knowledge in touch subsystem is desirable as well as adjacencies such as camera or sensors is preferred.

  • Advanced technical degree in emphasis in electrical engineering, optical physics, or similar discipline.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher CS, CE , EE or similar technical STEM degree

10+ years of experience in display module development including timing controller design.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of hands-on experience with display stack or backlight structure is a plus.
