Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Digital Technology (DT) is seeking an experienced leader to accelerate the transformation of our Digital Infrastructure & Workplace Services (DIWS) organization, improving our speed and agility, execution and communication of Value delivered to our Business.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Digital Infrastructure & Workplace Services (DIWS), this position will lead a diverse team in long-range strategy planning, annual operations planning, workforce development and staffing. This role also leads Digital Technologys Asset & Configuration Management service for RMD, with responsibility for the end to end Asset & Configuration Management service from strategy to execution.

Preferred location to be near a major RMD site: Tucson AZ, Andover/Tewksbury MA or Huntsville AL, with some remote work. Travel may be required up to ~10%.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage vision, strategy and goals to align with business and customer requirements
  • Engage and collaborate with leaders across the business and enterprise on multiple initiatives driving capabilities and solutions
  • Ensuring DIWS Directorate meets Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Commitments - 250 employees, 50 contractors, $133M total AOP
  • Development & execution of Workforce Development & Engagement strategies for DIWS
  • Integration and coordination of key Supplier Management reviews and actions for DIWS
  • Maintaining strong integration and partnership with Raytheon Enterprise Services as we partner to deliver Digital Technology products, services and execute key enterprise initiatives
  • Driving adoption of CORE (Six Sigma), Agile and Product Based Organization across DIWS
  • Leadership of the RMD DT Asset & Configuration Management Organization ensuring compliance with customer and business requirements and ever-increasing cyber security requirements, and business-wide service improvements - current portfolio of over 70K HW assets ($75M) and over 300K SW assets ($69M)
  • Leadership of the Integrated Asset Management Initiative that will transform the DT Asset & Configuration Management capability for RMD, strengthening end to end Asset and Configuration Management processes for functional and program assets, and meet new and evolving cyber security requirements
  • Manage risks and opportunities to include supporting realization and tracking of synergy commitments within Service Transformation & Execution to support business and company goals

    Required Skills:
  • 14 years experience; preferably across multiple domain areas such as program management, service management, digital technology, finance or supply chain
  • Experience leading teams
  • Project management leadership experience by leading development and execution of complex project plans
  • Experience with managing end to end services
  • Experience improving the product lifecycle (concept through sustainment) by identifying and leading value-added enhancements to key value streams
  • Experience briefing at the executive/business leadership level
    Required Education:
  • Bachelors degree; preferably in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related Business Management eld
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning and ability to translate strategy to action and results
  • Previous success in managing large, complex projects, products or services simultaneously (with multiple funding sources) and developing creative and innovative solutions for large-scale business challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and integrate cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes through building strong relationships, team building, conflict resolution and collaborating in way that builds an environment of credibility, respect and trust
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate mission, negotiate and challenge respectfully and describe opportunities in a way that influences and aligns key decision makers on top priorities (utilizing strong verbal and written communications, presence and influence, and business and technical acumen)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand RTN business model and financial impacts to business and program performance
  • Certifications in any of the following areas will be helpful to the success of this leader: Agile, ITIL, IAITAM, Cyber, Six Sigma
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity
