As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

About The Role

Intel Foundry Services is looking for a highly collaborative, influential and experienced Sr. Director of process technology technical marketing. This is a highly visible role, reporting to the VP of market strategy and solutions, with frequent interaction with the executive leadership of IFS. You will have the opportunity to build your team, and help build the newly launched IFS business, from the ground-up. You will be working at the boundary of technology and business, shaping some of the most advanced technologies in the world.

In this highly visible and critical role, you will lead build and lead a team of process technology experts in defining the technologies required to win at IFS target customers. You will deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and competitive offerings. Based on your understanding you will work to align with engineering teams, segment leaders, and management on technology definitions and roadmaps. You will play a critical role in the business development process by conducting detailed engineer-to-engineer product promotions and providing technical insights to aid in creation of marketing collaterals. You will also evangelize IFS solutions at industry conferences.


- Create the process market requirements document to define what technologies IFS must build to win at our target customers
- Diligent competitive analysis and sensing of competitive product offerings and strengths/weaknesses
- Work closely with engineering counterparts to align on product offerings and roadmaps
- Promotion of technologies to customer engineers and management
- Promotion of technologies to customer engineers and management
- Evangelize IFS technologies at industry conferences
- Create and implement scalable processes, and systems for tracking industry movements and defining IFS technologies
- Support creation of marketing collateral, providing input on value proposition
- Conduct training for IFS business development and Intel sales and marketing teams.

Experience Required:

Experience at a leading-edge foundry or as a member of the process technology team at a leading IDM or fabless company
Recognized as an expert in advanced process technology
Detailed knowledge of the foundry advanced technology competitive landscape
Well-connected to industry peers
15+ years of industry experience in a process engineering or technical marketing role.


Bachelors degree in engineering. Ph.D. in engineering preferred.
