Job Description

PSG's Hardware Engineering organization is looking for senior engineering manager to join us to lead a solidly performing team to execute pre-si verification charter for PSG's FPGA product family. Candidate will be responsible to lead the team to derive excellent results of quality and schedule. In this position, candidate will drive all phases of the project starting from Pre-si verification strategy, technology readiness, intermediate milestones leading to tapeout and production. The successful candidate will provide technical and operational direction to engineering teams, serving as the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally and externally. The candidate will need to exercise engineering judgment in order to develop solutions, solve complex problems, and define implement the best approaches for resolving issues.
The candidate will need to demonstrate an advanced understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development and verification methods, and disciplines associated with the relevant features and programs, and will utilize this knowledge to influence across organizational boundaries in order to accelerate progress and drive to a successful PRQ and product launch. Candidate will work with counterparts in other Geos and collaborate to make portfolio of projects successful.

Additional Skills :
Demonstrate skills to lead cross-organizational pre-si verification domain of product development.
Solid understanding of Pre-si verification concepts, tools/methods as well adjacent areas of design, Firmware and system level post-si validation.
Effective negotiation skills with proven skills to work between various engineering and business teams in order to deliver results.
Proven skills to lead cross-organizational teams where participants are not direct reports, motivating technical contributors and driving innovation.
Excellent communication skills, including participating in Initiatives, task force and workgroups. Proficiency to create concise summaries of plans, status, recommendations, and risks along with the path to resolution.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience OR - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of experience:
4+ years of experience in SOC, platform, or hardware architecture and design - preferably with experience across multiple disciplines
2+ years of technical expertise in Processor, Memory, PCIE and Ethernet sub-system, power management, security, etc
5+ years of experience in managing deliverables for multiple projects with extended teams across multiple geo locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Domain expertise in FPGA architecture/design and verification, Functional modeling, Device protocols, Firmware verification, Formal Property verification and emulation
