Job Description

As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.

This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

About the Role:

IFS customer enablement team is looking for a highly collaborative, and influential leader with extensive Analog/RF/mmWave design experience, to participate in the research and development of future generation technologies, perform Design and Technology Co-Optimization analysis, establish best known methods, including testchip strategies, to formalize the process for technology evaluation and qualification, and collaborate with other cross-function teams to enable state of the art analog design kit, design reference flows and IP solutions for analog/RF/mmWave applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Build a strong team with analog/RF/mmWave expertise.
  • Develop and establish process evaluation and verification procedures, drive cross organization alignments through collaborations.
  • Lead circuit pathfinding and design exploration to support advanced node technology definition and development, generate clear device and interconnect specifications.
  • Drive reference design implementation from concept to SI qualification for a wide range of product portfolio, fully evaluate and qualify technology offerings.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support PDK, reference flow, sign-off criteria developments that are fully aligned to industry standard.
  • Training and on-site customer engineering support. Trouble shooting and custom solution developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-function teams to accelerate ecosystem developments.
  • Drive AL and ML capabilities to support productivity improvement for analogy design and design migration.

Experience Required:             

  • Ability to establish DTCO methodologies and develop clear process specifications for analog/rf/mmWave applications.
  • Must have extensive foundry experience with customer engagement and support in Analog/RF/mmWave design applications.
  • Experienced with PDK, Reference flow, IP development and ecosystem partnership collaborations.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of articulating complex concepts and solutions.
  • Highly collaborative, customer-centric, influential leader with demonstrated success to secure supports and guide cross-functional teams in achieving goals.


Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field of study.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in leading advanced circuit pathfinding, testchip development, and design validation for leading technology nodes.

Inside this Business Group

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
