This is the Human Resources leader for two functions that enable the delivery of superior technical solutions to Raytheon Missiles and Defense customers. Specifically, this is the HR leader for the Raytheon Missiles and Defense Operations and Global Supply Chain teams. In this role, you will partner with the two Vice Presidents and their leadership teams to build strategy, improve organizational performance, and develop organizational capability. Specific areas of support include talent management, organizational effectiveness and change, performance management, compensation, organizational learning and development and employee relations.

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer for Raytheon Missiles & Defense, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of 14 HR professionals who support 23 factories across 5 states and 8,600 RMD employees. This role engages in both short and long-term organizational and people strategies and decisions that have a direct impact on the successful operation of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR business partnership to the Vice Presidents of RMD Operations and RMD Global Supply Chain, and participate as an integral part of their leadership teams
  • Partner with the teams supported to drive business excellence through effective utilization of HR subject matter knowledge and experience
  • Lead team of HR Generalists
  • Maximize organizational capability by leading efforts to acquire and develop best talent in support of business growth plans to build strong succession and bench strength and accelerate talent development
  • Foster a culture that focuses on building a more diverse and inclusive workforce in the Operations and Global Supply Chain functions

Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business, Human Resources, Labor and Industrial Relations or related education and a minimum of 16 years experience, including being a leader of people
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Human Resources

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in Raytheon Technologies Human Resources.
  • Masters degree in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations or other related field of study
  • Strong people management skills
  • Verifiable track record of success in Human Resources or business in large, complex organizations
  • Able to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen and diverse business perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and independently with individuals at various levels, including executives
  • Ability to think logically and strategically
  • Strong communication skills; written, oral and listening skills
  • Effective delegation and empowerment skills
  • Experience in a results based culture
