The Program Services team provides IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Understanding or knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Job functions may include the following:
Work in a fast paced technological environment
Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity
Exposure to data RAID, data backup uses an technologies
Install and configure software applications requested by end users
Work with Cyber security professionals to maintain security compliance requirements
Support team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope by assessing issues and developing resolutions to meet team goals and objectives
Foster collaboration through active communication and partnerships
Assist in documenting internal processes, and work instructions
Embody, exemplify, encourage and uphold outstanding values and behaviors
Organize and facilitate business-to-business alignment, actions, knowledge sharing, etc.
Provide additional assistance on ad-hoc requirements
Qualifications You Must Have:
Pursuing Bachelor's or Masters degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related STEM discipline
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Experience or education in Windows Server 2008, 2012 or 2016
Experience or education with Red Hat Linux and any Windows Operating System
Experience or education with VMWare, vCenter, vSphere and ESX virtual computing methods
Experience or education with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, Exchange and Lync
Experience or education in Basic Windows scripting
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
This position can be a Salary Grade ST02, ST03, ST04 or Salary Grade ST05 based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
ST02 (Sophmore Technical Intern) - must have completed 30 hours of college
ST03 (Junior Technical Intern) - must have completed 60 hours of college
ST04 (Senior Technical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
ST05 (Post GradTechnical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
