Job Description As a Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Digital Technology (DT) Project Manager Intern, you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of DT, Engineering, and Program teammates to support the implementation of cutting-edge digital technology and resources to drive efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Gain invaluable experience and make an impact through the responsibilities that include by are not limited to:
Project Management Experience in Technology: Support the use and leverage of Scrum, Agile and DevOps practices in order to manage daily priorities and ensure alignment with DT goals an initiatives
Partner and collaborate with Systems and Solutions Integration team to infuse new technologies and services into the mission areas and enhance the use of standardized solutions
Ensure the creation and execution of project implementation roadmaps related to the multi-mission areas
Experience in Utilizing Technology for Process Improvement: Assist with the identification of opportunities to gain efficiencies, lessons learned and act upon them, partnering with other teams within DT, Engineering, and other functions to realize positive outcomes. Suggest and implement automation solutions for manual and labor IT intensive tasks
Government Regulatory & Compliance Experience: Support the partnership with Information Assurance (IA) and Security to track the status of infrastructure compliance as it relates to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cybersecurity Maturity Model Compliance (CMMC), and DAAPM Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
Business Communications Experience: Support in the development and preparation of presentations related to DT projects, metrics, reviews, and risk and opportunities
Required Skills:
Pursuing Bachelor's or Masters degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related discipline
Education or Experience noted with Microsoft Office such as Word or Excel
U.S. Citizenship is required as a DoD security clearance will be necessary
Desired Skills:
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
Prior experience with system administration or code development
Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Solid organizational and time management skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity in a diverse environment
Experience working in a team to quickly address technical challenges
Relevant experience or internship
Strong computer literacy in Microsoft operating systems and x86/64 based hardware
Fundamental knowledge of computing Infrastructures
Technical curiosity, methodical problem solving and desire to learn new skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others collaboratively and constructively
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
This position can be a Salary Grade ST02, ST03, ST04 or Salary Grade ST05 based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:
ST02 (Sophomore Technical Intern) - must have completed 30 hours of college
ST03 (Junior Technical Intern) - must have completed 60 hours of college
ST04 (Senior Technical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
ST05 (Post Grad Technical Intern) - must have completed 90 hours of college
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
