RMD Digital Technology (DT) is a full-service IT organization that enables growth of the RMD business by working with our customers to develop innovative technology solutions. RMD DT functional areas include IT Solutions, Program Support Delivery, Services, Innovation, Standards and Architecture, and Operational Excellence.

Job Summary:

The DT Secure Call Operator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for a teleconference solution capable of hosting secure, classified multi-participant conversations for the Raytheon Technologies company. The Secure Call Operator must proactively partner with Global Security Services team members across RMD to deliver a cutting-edge service by coordinating and managing the full life cycle tasks of the secure conference call service, from fulfilling teleconference requests, initiating the calls and disconnecting participants when the call concludes. The Secure Call operator will also be expected to troubleshoot minor issues that may impact the services, while communicating unplanned outages to stakeholders and leadership, as well as supporting required maintenance support tasks within designated windows. The candidate must also maintain and adhere to required security controls and policies to mitigate unplanned disruption to service.

The hours of operation for the secure call service is a 12 hour window from 8AM 8PM ET. The ideal candidate must be able to work any shifts within those hours of operation; may require non-business hour support such as weekends and holidays as necessary. This role requires the candidate to work on-location and cannot be performed remotely

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Triaging incoming schedule requests from RMD employees to host secure call conferences for a specific time and date
  • Configuring the secure call infrastructure through the management software to initialize each secure conference call on the infrastructure
  • Manage availability of service through management of a shared calendar solution
  • Partner with technical SMEs and stakeholders to troubleshoot unforeseen issues with the teleconference infrastructure
  • As needed, support and assist with any necessary service management maintenance activities
  • As needed, collect and report operational service metrics that detail and summarize service performance and availability
  • Maintain system documentation detailing the operations of the service
  • Supporting training and education engagements to drive awareness and promote service benefits
  • Other duties and activities as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or any related major with 0-2 years of applicable experience. OR 8 years of relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree
  • Experience and strong computer literacy of the following technologies:
    • Microsoft operating systems and Intel x86 based hardware experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio
    • Experience with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange
    • Web-based interfaces
  • Experience in problem solving and technical troubleshooting approach and methodology
  • An active and in-scope DoD Top Secret US security clearance current within 6 years;. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
