Job Description

As an experienced DevOps lead in software development you will be responsible to define, prioritize and implement the software solutions and integrated pipeline offerings for rapid adoption across all product engineering implementations and business units at Intel. Operating through the Gladius initiative to accelerate product development, scope will be inclusive of source code management, CI/CD, Build, Secure and Compliant Scan, Artifact and Release management solutions independent and in concert in service of all workflow use cases required to design, develop and deploy Intel products.

Principal Engineers at Intel are active technical leaders inside and outside the company. Activities include participation in major industry and academic conferences, voting membership in international standards committees, generation of patents and technical papers.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in software development processes, life cycle management and infrastructure. A high-level understanding of computer architectures, compilers, debuggers, programming models, and customer deployment and distribution needs is a nice-to-have. You must be able to distill complex information and communicate clearly with deeply technical audiences as well as executives. You will have proven capability as follows:

  • Experience as a software developer or IT professional with a strong grasp of processes related to planning, executing, and releasing production quality software

  • Understanding and implementation of industry-adopted CI/CD methodologies along with source control, bug management, and CI/CD systems and processes

  • Ability to analyze current technology utilized and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them

  • Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration

  • Define detailed specifications for proposed solutions, assist with creating practical demonstrations

  • Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timely execution

  • Ability to be a change agent who can inspire and influence others, lead direct and matrixed teams

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$171,710.00-$274,890.00
