Job Description

As an experienced DevOps lead in software development, you will create a centralized DevOps team from our currently distributed teams with different processes and tools. Your centralized team will define DevOps processes driving agility and automation across a large organization of >700 software engineers. By working with existing distributed engineering teams, you would aggressively design and implement CI/CD methodologies, unify infrastructure and tools, and define and monitor metrics to ensure continuous improvements. Leveraging your expertise, you will provide technical guidance and direction on configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, code deployment, and agile software development.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in software development processes, life cycle management and infrastructure. A high-level understanding of computer architectures, compilers, debuggers, programming models, and customer deployment and distribution needs is a nice-to-have. You must be able to distill complex information and communicate clearly with deeply technical audiences as well as CXOs. You will have proven capability as follows:

* Experience as a software developer or IT professional with a strong grasp of processes related to planning, executing, and releasing production quality software
* Understanding and implementation of industry-adopted CI/CD methodologies along with source control, bug management, and CI/CD systems and processes
* Ability to analyze current technology utilized and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
* Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration
* Define detailed specifications for proposed solutions, assist with creating practical demonstrations
* Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timely execution
* Ability to be a change agent who can inspire and influence others, lead direct and matrixed teams

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$176,050.00-$281,160.00
