Key Qualifications

  • Do you have a knowledge of and passion for technology, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English? Can you effortlessly engage, explaining step-by-step solutions with patience and an approach tailored to each individual developer? Do you have a passion for helping to resolve issues, and provide the pinnacle of customer experience?
  • Key qualifications include:
  • - The ability to effectively prioritize your time and can multitask across systems and applications, analyze, isolate and resolve a variety of complex issues, and comfortably navigate a technical environment
  • - Minimum 2 years of contact center, consumer retail, or service experience required
  • - Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience
  • - Competence in effectively tailoring communication and style to differing audiences
  • - Flourishes with a team where expertise is shared and feedback is welcomed
  • - Effective time management including ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize
  • - Able to research and analyze information across multiple tools while talking with customers
  • - Capacity to work independently in a dynamic, constantly changing environment
  • - Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Japanese
  • - Proficiency with Apple products and applications is preferred


The Apple Developer Program Escalation Specialist will provide executive level local language support for our developers in the region of Japan. This role will serve as the escalation contact for AppleCare advisors supporting developers in Japan. They will review all processes, procedures and advisor emails, leading localization efforts for each in Japanese. This position will also be responsible for maintaining or exceeding established service levels

This position serves as the top support tier responsible for resolving sensitive and timely developer issues including, but not limited to, Executive level escalations, Legal inquiries, and Export Compliance, Product Security and fraud investigations.

This position collaborates cross-functionally with Apple teams to identify risk and mitigate fraud while crafting sound solutions and processes to secure and improve the on boarding process for Apple Developer Programs

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent
