Apple's Evangelism team is a team of designers, technologists and evangelists, who work on the Apple Developer app, Apple Design Resources, and other projects that educate, inspire and empower 3rd-party app developers to build beautiful, approachable and intuitive apps. We are seeking a User Interface and Production Designer to join our team and help us design some cool stuff!
Key Qualifications
The Apple Design Resources is the most authoritative design kit for iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. With the current design tools and ability to leverage their latest features, this will become the most comprehensive, powerful, easy to use app design kit available.
You will also apply your considerable interface design talents to create UI designs, prototypes, and specifications for the Developer app, among other developer-related projects!
In this role, you'll help us create, maintain, and extend Apple Design Resources: Apple's design and production templates for Sketch, XD, Photoshop and Keynote that enable 3rd-party app developers to quickly and accurately design user flows and high-fidelity comps.
You are a brilliant problem solver, quick study, and self-starter with a passion for great design and the ability to achieve it.
You thrive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic work environment and love taking on big, intricate, and complex design challenges.
You possess extraordinary design skills, passion for typography, iconography, composition, and color theory, and a deep knowledge of user-centered design principles.
You show a gift for spotting subtle inconsistencies in color, shape and size and a passion for making complex systems understandable and easy to work with through the development of straightforward and scaleable taxonomies.
You delight in the prospect of finding smarter, more efficient ways of working that minimize error. The work that you'll design, and the resources you craft, will be experienced and used by hundreds of thousands of developers around the globe.
Education & Experience
Bachelors or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction Design, Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, or equivalent experience is preferred
