Job Description

Product Enablement Solutions Group (PESG) is one of the key pillars, enabling Intel product design teams get to market faster with winning leadership products.
Following software engineering processes, the candidate develops state-of-the-art design tools, flows and methodologies (TFM) using Industry standard Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, to validate design methodologies on cutting edge process technologies.


Responsibilities of the role include, although not limited to:

  • IR Drop analysis (Static and Dynamic) TFM for SoC designs
  • Reliability Verification (RV) TFM for SoC designs
  • Power up analysis TFM for SoC designs
  • Creating TFM for die-die analysis

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Be a team player and willing to work in a collaborative environment
  • Logical problem-solving approach and the willing to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related major with 4+ years experience -OR- Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related major with 3+ years of experience in the following:

  • RV analysis tools, flows and methodology
  • Key RV aspects including Electron Migration/Self Heat
  • Using and debugging industry standard RV tools such as Redhawk
  • Programming in scripting languages Perl/TCL/Python


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design systems
  • Industry standard Synthesis and Place and Route flows
  • Semiconductor reliability physics and failure mechanisms
  • IR Drop/RV modeling tools: Voltus, Redhawk or Seascape
  • Cross functional/geo teams

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$111,000.00-$166,390.00
