In this role, your daily activities at our growing division will be anything but repetitive. The Front End (FE) Design Automation (DA) team is a 'force multiplier' on the skills of our hardware designers and verification engineers.

The selected candidate's responsibilities will entail:
- Develop and test engineering design automation CAD tools centered around RTL development and validation flows, such as RTL Simulation, Emulation, RTL analysis, Gate Level simulation, memory mapping, test logic insertion and validation tools.
- Create flows/scripts to run checks on FE collateral and analyze resulting data.
- Evangelize Continuous Integration and good version control processes.
- Work with tool suppliers to support the FE RTL development and validation flows.
- Design, deploy and test the tools used to achieve design goals. 
- Collaborate with design teams on broader methodology development.


Qualifications

Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry job relevant experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Education Requirement:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or

- Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 3 years of industry work experience, or

- PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of industry work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
 - 4+ years of experience in Data structures and Algorithms.
 - 4+ years of experience in Programming and scripting (e.g. C/C++, Perl/Tcl, Python, Shell scripting, Linux/Unix, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:
 - Experience supporting chip design activities, strong references from those designers that have been supported.
 - Record of peer-reviewed research published in electronic design automation, chip design methodology, or a related field.
 - History of contributions to the open-source community in those areas.
 - This will be a 'flexible' working environment (in-office, virtual, or hybrid arrangement will be negotiated).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$110,720.00-$183,250.00
