Job Description

In this position, you will be working as a product deployment engineer within the Product Enablement Solutions Group (PESG). This is a unique chance to work with our custom in-house developed tools which run our backend analysis for custom digital partitions such as Register Files and Caches. You will deliver Tools, Flows, and Methods (TFM) relating to Timing, Noise, Power, Reliability and Verification, and the infrastructure around these tools, in order to support these Custom Digital partitions.

Responsibilities of the role include, although not limited to:

  • Work closely with design teams to understand and debug tool/flow/methodology issues
  • Implement new enhancements to existing tool code/infrastructure
  • Create and maintain flows and scripts to support tools specific to Server/IP needs
  • Own regression and testing of design testcases to improve quality of flows deployed to design team

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer science or a related field with 1+ years experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer science or a related field with some experience in the following:

  • Programming in scripting languages, Perl, TCL, or Python
  • UNIX/Linux Computing Platform

NOTE: This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship for those with a Bachelors degree and less than 3 years of experience. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelors degree with three years related job experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with:

  • CAD and VLSI design
  • Databases (SQL, Splunk, etc)
  • Debugging and technical problem-solving
  • Direct customer interaction for requirements and issue resolution
