As a Demo Technology Program SME (Subject Matter Expert), you are responsible to drive, manage support in-store Demo Merchandising solutions and Channel technology initiatives for the ALAC region

You will function as the Demo Program Ambassador for partner Communications, Technical Readiness, Provisioning, roll-out, Tier 2 & Tier 3 Support, Compliance, Quality Assurance for content bundles, and Field Training Strategies

You should have a real passion for Apple and its products and be comfortable working alone as well as in a dynamic diverse team environment

Being detail oriented and dedicated is a requirement for this position

You are an expert on specific systems and tools associated with these initiatives, in order to bring innovation and facilitate adoption across the region

The role requires working across teams for planning purposes and to ensure the needed awareness and support to these initiatives

You understand and challenge business needs, translate those needs to technical solutions, and develop the database, codify scripts and build dashboards that satisfy such business needs, in solutions that can be used across the geo

Key Qualifications

  • Expert user of Mac OS X and iOS, Apple Apps, and Apple hardware products
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and deploying technology programs, preferably in storefront environments
  • Experience participating in system's quality testing, writing and executing test cases, documenting and bringing up required improvements or fixes
  • Experience in leading implementation of solutions with internal and external parties (sell-in, follow up, training and support)
  • Strong experience with system networks - wired and wireless
  • Experience with content management & deployment systems or Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Strong Communication and Problem-Solving skills (Six Sigma or Design Thinking is a plus)
  • Proficient in Excel/Numbers and Keynote applications
  • Written and Spoken English & Spanish required. Portuguese desired
  • Self- motivated and self-starter, with an initiative to deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Strong hands-on development/coding experience in Python, PHP, Java Scripts, Bash
  • Strong hands-on experience in defining, creating and maintaining SQL-based databases
  • Experience in Tableau and Business Objects Dashboards development and maintenance
  • Strong sense of urgency, the capacity to project manage him/herself and others, focus on quality and timely deliveries
  • Knowledge of cronjob to run automated scheduled scripts and tasks

Description
- Participate in UAT of new software systems and validate content bundles prior to deployment
- Design local tests and use cases as needed
- Provide feedback and issue documentation for technical and operational troubleshooting under tight deployment timelines
- Address field technical support tickets and resolve Tier 2/3 issues
- Act as a primary point of contact for any emerging issues
- Call out and track issues as needed
- Drive demo content and software compliance across all demo program lines of business (Mac, iOS, Watch, and AppleTV) utilizing existing tools, as well as crafting new processes as needed
- Use existing reporting tools, and create targeted ad-hoc reports for specific partners or programs
- Develop and implement a communication strategy for field business partners and store staff
- Address content and system launches, system training, instruction, escalation paths, and program timelines
- Build and maintain strong customer, field, and cross-functional relationships
- Work alongside WW Technology, BPR, Shared Services/MTI support teams, SFO, and regional counterparts
- Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Develop database + code scripts + create dashboard solutions to address those needs

Education & Experience

Engineering degree or Computer Science background
