Job Description
The datacenter architecture team at Intel is seeking an experienced SoC architect to help drive simple and clear implementation architecture for datacenter SoC and support speedy design execution. The ideal candidate for this role would bring several years of successful SoC execution experience in the industry based on modular designs built used standard design methodologies, tool flows and processes. The architect will work closely with lead Xeon product and other SoC architects and will be responsible for overall SoC architecture of the product. This role would shape the product SoC to new levels of design efficiency and nimbleness so it can be rapidly extended for new features and market deployments. This dynamic role will involve direct working relationship with Intel senior management and Fellows with high visibility and rapid learning and growth opportunities.Role responsibilities include but not limited to:- Develop and deliver the SoC architecture for the product and successfully support design, validation and other teams in the broader product development teams to successfully deliver the product to market. - Drive feature definitions, issue closures and collateral updates and processes involved- Review any bottom up design for challenges in functional or performance convergence and drive SoC architecture solution to enable better design convergence. - Review the Intel SoC design and validation plans and ensure the plans are exhaustive and complete. - Proactively identify and resolve problems upstream and downstream


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Deep familiarity of the industry standards, tools and SoC design methodologies and manufacturing processes- Knowledge of multiple domains of the SoC architecture, datacenter product concepts, and protocols and interfaces standards- Master or PhD degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of SoC architecture, design and validation experience in semiconductor industryPreferred Qualifications:- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, persistent, and resilient with the ability to operate in face of ambiguity- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities and directionsRequirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$167,930.00-$268,860.00
