Job Description

Designs, plans, and implements database systems and programs. May have responsibility for administering several aspects of a project such as access methods, device allocation, and security. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures as they relate to databases. Assignments may include design of data dictionaries, database structure and layout, installing, upgrading, and managing database applications.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral skills

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Should be able to work in flexible time, depending on the requirements.

This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field of study or expect the required degree by December 2021.

  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in

    • PostgreSql, Mongo, Mysql, Redis, MSSQL or other open-source database technologies.

    • MSSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Development [in depth expertise - in all versions].

    • Developing scripts/automation through SQL/PSQL.

    • Scripting or development skills - like Powershell, Python, Ansible and other scripting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 months of experience in:

    • Extreme automation.

    • security / Certificates / Encryption including in transit and at rest.

    • Troubleshooting experience in multiple technologies.

    • Operating system expertise on windows and Linux.

    • Enterprise networking and firewall.

    • DevOps, Agile development processes, exploration, POCs and new solution development, deployments.
