Citi established its Citi Data Management Policy and Standard (CDMP) to govern and manage data in compliance with regulatory expectations. It sets forth the minimum requirements for the implementation of a consistent and controlled approach to create and use data as a critical corporate asset. The Policy also establishes a Governance Model for Data Management, Governance and Quality across Citi. All Citi employees, contractors, and personnel with responsibility for the ownership, production, and consumption of data must manage data in accordance with the CDMP.

**This position is in the US Consumer Analytics Strategic Data Management team, supporting the data management requirements outlined in the CDMP.**

Specific responsibilities include:

+ Build relationships with other business teams, develop an in depth understanding of partners processes and data, and maintain an accurate Business Process map, which captures all Data Domains, Data Concepts and Data Elements.

+ In partnership with other stakeholders, identify data quality gaps within processes. Develop and execute a remediation plan to resolve identified gaps.

+ Execute regulatory and data policy based projects to ensure USCB compliance

+ Coordinate with other stakeholders on issue resolution, providing support for remediation and monitoring ongoing process data quality.

+ Champion and execute the business strategic data and policy implementation plan.

+ Facilitate the activities of the Data Steward and Data Domain Lead as needed.

+ Act as a trusted advisor on CDO policy and procedures as needed.

+ Provide strategic business program and project management and support for US Retail Bank data related activities.

+ Facilitate compliance with CDO policies and deliverables.

+ Work with NA Compliance and NA Data Governance to ensure in Business data quality measurement is in place to meet regulatory commitments and expectations.

+ Manage and lead a variety of activities designed to implement process level data enhancements in support of the strategic plan.

+ Helps to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ A strong cross-functional collaborator, with the ability to influence and engage partners.

+ Ability to think strategically, creatively problem solve, and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives.

+ Must be organized and detail oriented.

+ CIMP or CIMP Ex certified a plus.

+ 7+ years working with data governance or data quality.

+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to partner and interact across Business, Analytic, IT and Operational groups.

+ Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to interface with internal and external resources to define requirements.

+ Willingness to pitch-in with other team members. Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to objectively evaluate established business processes, policies and programs.

+ Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.


+ Bachelors/University degree, in finance, technology, computer science, engineering, or economics

+ Masters degree in Business or Operations preferred

+ Data management or data governance certification preferred
