As a data engineer you contribution will be foundational to all we achieve.

Key Qualifications

  • - Developing ETL and debugging using Spark framework: PySpark/Spark Scala, Spark SQL, Spark UI
  • - Implementing data transformation using Python
  • - Experience with Unix-based command line interface and Bash scripts
  • - Experience with workflow scheduling / orchestration such as Airflow or Oozie
  • - Database development experience with Relational or MPP/distributed systems, experience with Postgres
  • - Data visualization experience using Python or similar technologies
  • - Experience with query APIs using JSON, ProtocolBuffers, or XML

Description

One of your main areas of contribution will be in the area of analytics tools and services to support analytics Implement and maintain end-to-end data pipelines with structural understanding of data products Developing tools to support analytics needs and facilitate analysis and insights Create intermediate tables from raw data to support ad-hoc analyses and reporting Develop and maintain data QA framework

Education & Experience

A background in computer science, mathematics, or similar quantitative field with a minimum of 3 years professional experience; Masters preferred
