The AppleCare Risk Management Operations team is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to build & develop tableau reporting analytics and create innovation tools and solutions using data to support our team's efforts to mitigate risk

The AppleCare Risk Management Operations team is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of service activity. We are a high impact team whose goal is to improve the service process experience by mitigating risk

Key Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will be experienced in the development and delivery of reporting within the GBI and Tableau environments
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying structure, focus and standardization within a reporting and data analytics environment, including the development of best practices across functions and regions
  • High comfort level with analyzing performance, needs and expectations in order to anticipate upcoming analytical requirements or challenges
  • Proven strong experience in using programming languages (preferably python) to do data wrangler, clean, process and perform ad-hoc analysis
  • Strong knowledge of database and hands on experience with related tools such as teradata, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc
  • Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
  • Experience & interest developing machine learning risk based models a plus
  • Excellent conceptual, written and verbal communications skills at all levels, and the ability to establish relationships across channels and functions to drive success worldwide
  • Aptitude for blending quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to make data driven decisions on a periodic basis
  • Ability to work closely with multi-functional partners
  • Ability to think creatively, tackle problems and innovate
  • Great teammate with a positive attitude


As the data analyst, you will need to be reciprocal and eager to learn our current applications while driving new ideas and features. This role works with the business to develop reporting analytics to support the daily operations in addition to developing automation, tools and risk based models to mitigate risk. Your responsibilities will include developing new features, managing and maintaining existing code, fixing bugs and contributing to overall design. You will develop clear and concise presentation summaries for management, illustrating trends and opportunities for improvement and understand the "why" of a business request, and strive to deliver what is needed, not necessarily what is asked for. You will have a curious eye on future technology and look for innovative solutions to problems or new ways to achieve goals. You will collaborate and share standard methodologies

Education & Experience

B.S. in a related field, (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, etc)
