Our team seeks a Cybersecurity Training Coordinator, which is a 75% telecommuting role with onsite work in any of the following locations: Tewksbury, Marlborough or Andover, MA, Portsmouth, RI, Camden, AK, or Huntsville, AL. Capped relocation support is available.

Job Description:
The Cybersecurity Training Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and continuous assessment of a comprehensive RMD Cybersecurity training curriculum. This role will collaborate with the other members of the training team and will report to the GSS Cybersecurity Training Lead.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Review technical and non-technical training material to ensure it meets the approved standardized format.
  • Identify training needs and curriculum updates to meet compliance and security controls mandated by Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Maintain metrics and measurements of training effectiveness.
  • Assess the effectiveness of instructors training capacity and classroom decorum well as provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate and distribute information on training programs, upcoming training schedules, and participant feedback.
  • Assist supervisors assess employee development and learnability to ensures adherence to required procedures and processes. Engage subject matter experts to create and train specific cybersecurity processes.
  • Communicate training program with all levels of leadership.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments: Industrial Security, Physical Security, Program Engagement, and Digital Technology.
  • Occasional domestic travel is possible.

This position can be a Senior Analyst, Cyber Security Control a Principal Specialist, Cyber Security Control, based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Qualifications You Must have:
Senior Analyst, Cyber Security Control a Principal Specialist
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Management Information Technology, Business, Math or other degrees will be considered.
    • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience.
  • Two (2) years cybersecurity, network / systems security experience (in lieu of degrees described above, 10 years of cybersecurity, network/systems security experience)
  • Experience developing and presenting training material and/or education curriculum
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance

Principal Specialist, Cyber Security Control
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Management Information Technology, Business, Math or other degrees will be considered.
    • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience.
  • Five (5) years cybersecurity, network / systems security experience (in lieu of degrees described above, 13 years of cybersecurity, network/systems security experience)
  • Possess at a minimum DoD 8570 certification IAM Level I (any of the following Security +, CAP or GSLC)
  • Experience developing and presenting training material and/or education curriculum
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance

Qualifications We Value:
  • Previous experience as an ISSM/CSCA at a Raytheon facility
  • Experience in a management role and/or leading a team
  • Experience in developing training in Cyber Security, or other related experience
  • Familiar with Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
  • Knowledge of Assured File Transfer (AFT) processes and tools
  • Knowledge of computer forensics tools and investigative methodologies
  • Knowledge in Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with national security information system related security requirements (e.g. JAFAN, DCID, JSIG, ICD 503, RMF, DIACAP or NISPOM/DAAPM) to include technical computer/network system auditing.
  • Familiarity implementing government security requirements to include technical computer/network system auditing
  • Familiarity developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and all supporting certification and accreditation documentation
  • Possess strong writing, speaking, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of learners.
  • Experience working within a matrixed atmosphere with geographically dispersed teams
  • A self-starter, capable of multitasking
  • Knowledgeable of the security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems
  • Able to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines while ensuring internal/external customer needs are met
