Our Cybersecurity team is presently seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Lead to support our Enterprise Network Systems. This on-site role can be filled at either our Tewksbury, MA, or Tucson, AZ, locations. Capped relocation support is available, see below for further details regarding what we offer.

Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity within the Global Security Services (GSS) Cybersecurity organization supporting the Enterprise Wide Area Network (eWAN). The eWAN provides centralized delivery of advanced digital technology (DT) and security services to multiple classified program efforts across the enterprise. The eWAN transforms the delivery model of classified information processing and provides critical collaboration and compute resources to key business initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) or Sr. Information System Security Officer (ISSO), with a strong understanding of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) compliance requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • The eWAN Cybersecurity Technical Lead oversees and supports the daily operation of all elements of eWANs cybersecurity technical capabilities. Focus areas include environment monitoring, auditing, incident response, vulnerability management, and configuration assessment.
  • The Cybersecurity Technical Lead has a thorough understanding of eWAN technical security control implementation, daily operating procedures, and the originating compliance requirements.
  • You will lead the cross-functional Security Services team of Digital Technology (DT) and Global Security Services (GSS) personnel responsible for executing the eWAN cybersecurity program and developing new security capabilities offered to eWAN tenant programs.
  • You will supervise eWAN Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) within the Security Services team. The role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills; the eWAN is a transformative business initiative which relies on energized change leadership and clear communication.
  • This position reports to the eWAN Cybersecurity Operations Manager.

Important note: Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with DoD 8570.1 IAM Level II certification CISSP/CISM/GSLC or other applicable certification, if you do not already have this certification.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Management Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Business, Math or other degrees will be considered
    • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
  • Eight (8) years of cyber/systems security experience
  • Experience with network security tools / platforms, such as Tenable, Splunk, Forcepoint and/or Ivanti.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:
  • Active / current Department of Defense clearance.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, security incident and event management (SIEM), and network security tools, best practices, and processes.
  • Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity hardening practices for major technical platforms (Windows, Linux, network hardware, hypervisors, etc.).
  • Understanding of the DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) and associated requirements.
  • Understanding of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Experience as an ISSM or Sr. ISSO.
  • Experience with large multi-facility networks including diverse and complex components.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) work practices.
  • A passion for leading teams through change and supporting employee development.

  • Excellent time management and organization skills including attention to detail, ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of cloud security principles.
