This is a Cybersecurity Training Lead position includes the development, implementation and continuous assessment of a comprehensive Cybersecurity training program. Review technical and non-technical training material to ensure it meets the approved standardized format. Identify training needs and possible curriculum to meet compliance and security controls mandated by Risk Management Framework (RMF). Maintain metrics and measurements of training effectiveness. Assess the effectiveness of instructors training capacity and classroom decorum well as provide recommendations for improvement. Coordinate and distribute information on training programs, upcoming training schedules, and participant feedback. Assist supervisors assess employee development and learnability to ensures adherence to required procedures and processes. Engage subject matter experts to create and train specific cybersecurity processes.

The candidate is required to communicate about the training program with all levels of leadership. Collaborate across multiple departments, to include, but not limited to Industrial security, Physical security, Project management, and Digital Technology. Provide professional customer service.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

This position can be located in Tucson, AZ or Tewksbury, MA.

Required Experience, Skills and Education:
  • Bachelors Degree or 8 years equivalent related Cyber Security experience in lieu of degree PLUS the following:
  • Minimum of 6 years related Cyber Security experience (14 years without a Bachelors degree)
  • Must possess at a minimum DoD 8570 certification IAM Level I (any of the following Security +, CAP or GSLC)
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Experience developing and presenting training material and/or education curriculum
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Experience in a management role and/or leading a team
  • Experience in developing training in Cyber Security, or other related experience
  • Familiar with Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience
  • Knowledge of Assured File Transfer (AFT) processes and tools
  • Knowledge of computer forensics tools and investigative methodologies
  • Knowledge in Windows, UNIX, Linux, Solaris, IRIX, SUSE, and MAC operating systems
  • Experience with national security information system related security requirements (e.g. JAFAN, DCID, JSIG, ICD 503, RMF, DIACAP or NISPOM/DAAPM) to include technical computer/network system auditing.
  • Familiarity implementing government security requirements to include technical computer/network system auditing
  • Familiarity developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and all supporting certification and accreditation documentation
  • Possess strong writing, speaking, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of learners.
  • Experience working within a matrixed atmosphere with geographically dispersed teams
  • A self-starter, capable of multitasking
  • Knowledgeable of the security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems
  • Able to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines while ensuring internal/external customer needs are met

Security Clearance: This position requires the successful issuance, transfer or maintenance of a security Clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
