Job Description: Raytheon Missile & Defense (RMD) is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Cybersecurity organization. This is a collaborative environment where there is high focus on ensuring regulatory compliance while allowing diversity of thought and providing results based recognition.
Provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support to classified computing environments. Primarily interface with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Program Engineering staff and Classified Lab Managers to ensure adherence to all NISPOM Chapter 8 policies. Maintain the classified information security computing environments, creating profiles and security plans. Submit updates in a timely manner and implement any changes required by the customer rapidly and correctly. Ensure all IS's are configured and maintained to retain DCSA accreditation during classified operations. Verify the conduct of weekly audits of the lab environments. Verify there are no changes to the IS. Verify automated audit functions are performing properly. Verify no time period of audit data is missing. Review event logs. Verify users are cleared to operate lab systems. Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related discipline
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments
Operating system experience, (i.e., Windows, Solaris, HPUX, Linux operating systems, and/or NetApps Filers
Previous experience working in a classified information systems environment.
Possess good written, verbal, listening and presentation skills
Self-motivated and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting evaluation results
Desire and ability to work as a team member is essential
Customer focused, adaptable and willing to work varying assignments
Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Organizational skills to include: attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask
Previous networking experience
CISA, Security+, or CNE professional certification
