Apple's Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization operates four regional shared service centers around the world in Singapore; Shanghai, China; Cork, Ireland and Austin, Texas. As Apple continues to grow its global presence in new and existing markets, the GBS organization is also growing to better manage and operate the regional sites and drive global coordination.

We are currently seeking a Credit Card Business Analyst in Austin, Texas that has a desire to work with an amazing team and lead day to day operational activities driven by data analysis.

Key Qualifications

  • A strong thoughtful leader with the ability to define and influence the vision for critical data analytics needs and dataset requirements
  • Deep understanding of payment processing data and system flows
  • Strong data analytical skills with ability to identify data pattern and perform all aspects of analysis
  • Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to identify, frame, prioritize and answer business questions where analytics can be most impactful
  • Ability to articulate complex findings in a clear, concise and effective manner including use of meaningful charts, graphs and tables, to non-technical audience
  • Strong executive presence and ability to effectively interact with senior leadership team and business stakeholders at all levels
  • Attention to details and strong ability to deliver timely and accurate work product in a
  • fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, be a self-starter
  • Proficiency with Data visualization tools, large data sets, and presentation skills required
  • Experience with SAP preferred

Description

The Analyst will support day to day operations and work closely with the Consumer Receivables team located in AMR and EMEIA to develop and execute the data analytics vision, strategy and solutions for Global Credit Card Disputes Team. From transactional monitoring to strategic management, the selected candidate will play a major leadership role in building the data analytics capabilities to drive process efficiency, manage costs effectively, reduce cycle time, mitigate fraud risks, improve resource productivity and increase business performance.

The role will also interact with FDT Financial Data & Technology Team, Global Process Owner (GPO) team and SDS Strategic Data Solutions team to benchmark regional data analytics best practices, prioritize critical global reporting needs, support global expansion of local reports and participate in on-going data analytics related technical training or seminars.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop creative analytical solutions to solve complex business problems and support data-driven decisions, such as; Network Rules & Regulation changes, real time fraud pattern analysis, and project support.
Prioritize and coordinate across the Consumer Receivables team to address day-to-day reporting and analytical needs.
Benchmark with regional O2C counterparts, and funnel global requirements to O2C Global Process Owner team for new business initiatives.
Support global expansion of local reports

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics and experience in data analysis or related occupation in Finance or Business Functions
