Retail Engagement & Marketing teams define, build, produce and lead the programs and campaigns that help Apple Retail's customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple's products, services, values and initiatives. The role of the Engagement design team will be to deliver inspiring content for internal communications, training experiences, and events to inspire and engage our internal teams every day.

We are seeking a creative leader to help us reimagine the Apple retail employee experience, through our Internal Communications and Learning and Development programs. This person will partner closely with the Director of Communications and the Director of Learning and Development to bring the vision and strategies for all internal communication and learning to life.

Key Qualifications

  • Previous experience in creating instructional content including video that is both inspiring and effective.
  • Proven success in designing events and experiences that move audience's hearts and minds.
  • Experience establishing vision, purpose, goals, talent planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Experienced in scoping, scheduling and resource planning for creative projects.
  • Has broad knowledge and perspective of current and trending methods organizations used to measure the effectiveness of L&D efforts
  • A deep understanding of market-wide trends, themes and current cultural events
  • Driven with eye for excellence in detail

Description

You will encourage extraordinary content by building and leading a group of high performing creatives made up of instructional designers, writers, designers and art directors.
You obsess over the needs of our teams around the world, crafting content that is effective, timely, relevant, and engaging, while meeting Apple's creative and production standards.
You will need to thrive in ambiguity as Apple retail is agile and constantly evolving. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining critical partnership across Apple, interacting with the Retail Leadership Team, as well as leaders in Product Marketing, Values, and Services (Apple Music, Apple TV, etc.)
You will leverage insights to assess learning and communication needs, advising the direction and design of content.
You work alongside your team to build strong, focused narratives and content for retail teams ranging from retail events, product launches, and employee initiatives.
You will establish the vision, purpose, goals, and measures of success for your team, in alignment with what is established for the entire organization.
You are also responsible for finding and developing new and existing talent as well as encouraging them to do the best work of their lives

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree preferred
