Job Description

The Core Micro-Architecture Team is looking for outstanding researchers to develop algorithms for Intel's next generation Processor Core micro-architecture.

The job includes:

  • Analyzing the performance bottlenecks of the current generation.

  • Developing new HW algorithms and new HW structures for improving the core performance in a power efficient manner.

  • Coding (C++) and evaluating the new algorithms using simulations.

  • Tuning and improving the algorithms for best performance and power.

  • Writing definition documents


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must have a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 1+ years of experience with/in:

  • Programing (preferably C++)
  • Processor core micro-architecture
