Job Summary:
Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) is seeking a Contracts Analyst/Specialist to join our Contracts Excellence and Transformation team, as part of the Contracts Operations group. This is available as a remote role although you may need to travel to our sites a few times per year.

In this role, you will serve as a liaison to practitioners within the RMD Contracts Organization and regularly interface across multi-disciplinary functions in support of timely and accurate processing of proposals and awards.

To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, demonstrate high sensitivity to time-critical activities, adjust seamlessly to frequently changing priorities aligned to Business and Leadership-directed actions and recognize the critical role of Contracts Operations to support the success of the Contracts Organization in our work and our mission.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
In this role, you will frequently and consistently lead, guide, perform and communicate on important Contracts Operations-related activities, including:
  • Contracts Performance Metrics collection, tracking and reporting
  • Pre-award Lifecycle Process Management
  • Awarded Fee Date Capture & Tracking
  • Integrated Contract Management System (ICMS) Reporting & Integrity
This position can be a Senior Contracts Analyst or a Principal Contracts Specialist based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, English, Finance, or related field
  • 2 years of contract management experience for the Senior Contracts Analyst role
  • 5 years of contract management experience for the Principal Contracts Specialist role
  • Experience with contract negotiations
  • Experience with US government regulations (such as Federal Acquisition Regulations [FAR] and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement [DFARS])

  • Experience in external customer interface and supporting existing RMD programs
  • Experience with the Integrated Contract Management System (ICMS)
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe
  • Experience with multiple contract types and vehicles (such as Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity [IDIQs], Firm Fixed Price [FFP], Cost Plus Fixed Fee [CPFF], Fixed Price Incentive Fee [FPIF], and Cost Plus Incentive Fee [CPIF])
