The core mission of the Content Strategy team is to schedule, prioritize, leverage and optimize Apple TV+'s original content across the organization's efforts in subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will play a critical part in the overall strategic approach that showcases the depth, breadth and exclusivity of content Apple TV+ has to offer. You will work cross functionally to evaluate insights and recommend scheduling and on-channel campaign plans and will play an integral role as we communicate those plans within Content, Marketing, and across other teams as well. The ideal candidate needs to exhibit a high level of independent thinking, has a strong attention to detail, sets a high bar for him/herself, loves to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, can work independently, is intellectually curious and is an innovator. We need someone with experience in scheduling, media planning, campaign management and optimization as well as the desire to reach targeted audiences. Key Qualifications

  • 5 years or more of professional experience with shown success in the key responsibilities for this role
  • Advanced knowledge of Numbers/Excel and Keynote/Power Point
  • Highly proficient with quantitative data analysis and utilizing data to drive decision-making
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills, detail-oriented, well-organized mindset, with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, change priorities seamlessly, and remain calm operating under tight deadlines
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with & passionate about entertainment/content

Description

Leverage market and behavior data, audience research to drive data and analytics that produce effective scheduling strategies and identify scheduling gaps and audience segment opportunities

Analyze competitive marketplace, new subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies, and work across teams and with senior manager to continuously optimize and recommend content priorities and monitor performance

Strategize and author business documents and reports to recommend new business initiatives in relation to scheduling and prioritization of content as well as communicate state of the business

Generate on channel pre and post roll plans based on campaign objectives and provide recommendations to optimize those plans as necessary based on performance and delivery

Liaise with Marketing, Ops, and other teams to ensure on-schedule execution of campaigns

Ensure all campaigns are running and pacing accurately

Other projects as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
