The Mechanical Products Team (MPT) is responsible for mechanical design, analysis, and test of all sensor and effector products across the RMD portfolio. The Mechanical Product Team uses state-of-the-art tools, processes, technology, and Raytheon Six Sigma principles.

The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The CDM organization is comprised of Effector CM (ECM), Data Management (DM/DEX), Software Configuration Management (SWCM), and Sensor CM (SCM).

The Configuration Management department is looking for an individual to perform the role of a Configuration Analyst for the Missile Trace group.

Our Configuration Management Missile Trace group provides As-Built Configuration support to multiple programs for the manufactured and delivered hardware from suppliers for these missile programs.

Operations Configuration Management provides configuration control to Operations/Quality via engagement with Operations, Whole Life Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Specific areas of engagement include:
  • Patriot Missile Configuration Management
  • Process Sheet Configuration Verification (WIP)
  • Missile Trace
  • As-Built data entry
  • Physical hardware review for date and lot codes
  • Scanning of as-built hardcopies
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Provide traceability reports for operation/quality/engineering
  • Provide As-built information, reports, and directional support to Operations
  • Provide as-built configuration for missile hardware
  • Support special assignments from Area Lead
  • Create monthly metrics/activity reports
  • Provide guidance to missile area personnel

This position can be a Configuration Analyst I, or a Configuration Analyst II based on the candidates qualification as they relate to the skills, experience, and responsibility requirements for the position

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 0-2 years of related experience in data management or configuration management (0 years for Configuration Analyst I and 2 years for Configuration Analyst II)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe products
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

This position is located in Andover, MA
(Position can be remote during the COVID pandemic and possible remote/telecommute post pandemic)
