As a Systems Engineer you will be an integral part of our team in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customer. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems life cycle. Applying engineering knowledge, tools, and principals to perform detailed verification planning and in depth

Analysis of complex engineering and model data to assess missile system compatibility with surrounding systems and environments

Provide technical and project engineering expertise for the Fleet
Ballistic Missile (FBM) Common Missile Compartment (CMC)
program by performing technical planning, system integration,
requirements research and verification and validation of D5
Missile System requirements. All analysis is performed at the
Missile System/Subsystem level requirements and ensures the
compatibility of the existing D5 (D5LE) Missile System with the
Ohio Replacement and UK Successor class of SSBN platforms.

Specifically the SEIT Lead for XPR will be in front of the team that works the experimental POD development and installation for data gathering missions for the D5LE missile

The candidate will coordinate and manage the timely execution of training, mockups and missile build support in order to get our hardware onto the missile flights

Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government
security clearance

Basic Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, math or a related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent education and experience

Experience with hardware (mechanical and electrical) integration

Experience with the systems engineering process

Experience with manufacturing and integration to a defined process

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Desired skills
Experience managing major technical reviews (Systems Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), etc.)

Familiarity with the FBM Common Missile Compartment program or the D5 Missile System

Performing system level testing

System integration

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Excellent time-management and organizational skills - proven ability to multitask
