The Common Missile Compartment Program on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program is looking for its next enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on a systems engineering integration role. This position will involve providing integration support to experimental projects and getting them integrated into the next level systems, facilities and activities.
As a systems engineer on the XPR project your mission will be to coordinate and work with designers to execute on instrumenting a D5LE missile for gathering appropriate data during flight. This role has some hands-on tasking as well as coordination and interfaces with multiple disciplines across Lockheed to ensure mission success. Customer interaction will be necessary to be successful in this role. Authoring of technical procedures for installation and checkout of electrical and mechanical systems to acquire the necessary data from the flight
Successful candidates will possess an internal drive and motivation with a focus on follow through and execution. This position will involve coordination amongst various customer and engineering teams to ensure successful integration

Basic QualificationsBachelor's in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience
Experience in system integration
Familiarity with requirements procurement, verification and validation
Ability to assess needed requirements for the level of integration being performed
Experience developing presentation

Typical Minimums
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level
