The Desktop Workstation and Channel Group is responsible to drive all Desktop and Workstation business worldwide.

This position is within the Desktop Commercial Team in Desktop Workstation and Chanel Group (DWCG). The Commercial Desktop team is responsible for more than 6 Billion dollar in annual revenue, is dynamic and agile and we are looking for a person who would like to be part of  of an small but highly efficient team the candidate will be responsible to bring to market the next generation of commercial desktops. The candidate should be very passionate about improving our products and support a team responsible to win in the larger PC segment.

We are looking for someone experienced, yet hands on. That can contribute in uncover how to win in this competitive market.


A successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • PC Architecture knowledge with the ability to be creative, independent, and out-of-the-box thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • The experience in driving cross-functional and industry wide initiatives and taskforces

  • Attention to details, strong organization skills

  • The ability to connect the dots and identify cross-discipline optimal solutions

  • The ability to be self-motivated, strong leadership skills being able to influence across internal and external ecosystem

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex issues with clarity to drive decisions

  • The ability to work with cross-functional and cross site teams and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • The ability to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment

Responsibilities include but limited to:

  • Defining technical specification for Intels newest commercial desktops

  • Coordinating development of the technology features, develop QA plans and drive test-cases development working with relevant stakeholders

  • Engaging with internal partners and external OEMs and vendors to coordinate tool feature requirements and specification

  • Driving innovation and initiatives to enhance existing tools and methodology

  • Identifying and analyzing problems, plans, tasks and solutions

  • Cultivating and reinforcing appropriate group values, norms and behaviors

  • Performing in a dynamic, challenging and sometimes ambiguous environment with drive and creativity

  • Developing platform solution reference designs requirements

  • Defining and measuring Key Performance Indicators and Key Experience Indicators

  • Working creating workload decomposition that can be used by the architecture team defining the next gen products

  • Understanding optimal HW configurations and fluent in segment relevant SW applications

  • Developing usage model proof points, testing models and competitive analysis. Conducts strategic pathfinding and advises on incubation innovation opportunities


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering or related field with 3+ relevant industry experience OR Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering or related field with 2+ relevant industry experience

Minimum Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in the following areas:

 Experienced in PC system architecture and operating systems

Scripting skills using a programming language such Python, PERL, TCL

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledgeable of the commercial segment

Virtual environments and solution deployments in small business and enterprise businesses

Familiar with PC benchmarking is a plus

Knowledge of IT manageability systems and Intel vPRO technology
