The Camera Systems Engineering group is responsible for the simulation, calibration and analysis of camera modules. Our calibration procedures guarantee excellent performance by compensating for manufacturing variations. The team is seeking an extraordinary color scientist or measurement engineer to develop the models, apparatus, and methods necessary to implement the next generation of camera color calibration technology
Key Qualifications
Be responsible for color measurement and interpretation
Perform system level analysis and simulation of physical phenomena related to camera systems
Develop algorithms, procedures and test systems
Conduct accuracy analysis from factory reports
Automate measurement procedures using Matlab and Python
Monitor the build data to ensure calibration process is functioning as expected across Module Integrators (MIs)
Calibrate spectrometers across camera Module Integrators
Responsible for specification of spectrometers for calibration light source correction
Develop spectrometer calibration & traceability methods
Develop compact representations of color shading
Specify spectral calibration of camera modules, as the differentiator next-generation technology in this field
Key component specification, including LEDs and diffusers
Education & Experience
BS/MS/PhD in a relevant field (Color Science, EE, CS, Physics, Optical Engineering)
