The Collaboration Platforms team in the Support Operations and Technologies organization is seeking an experienced, creative and customer-focused program manager to support and advance the collaboration tools strategy in AppleCare. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology and collaboration.

This position can be based in Austin, TX. Elk Grove, CA. or Raleigh, NC.

  • Fundamental understanding of collaboration tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Ability to cultivate and foster relationships between Apple employees at all levels
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and writing skills; fluent in English
  • Ability to work with global teams and adapt initiatives for cultural differences
  • Attention to detail and quality of output
  • Ability to deal with a high level of ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively and with minimal oversight, effectively managing all communication channels and notifications
  • Ability to work non-standard business hours to support project launches
  • Ability to maintain a sense of humor in a fast paced environment

Description

Act as a subject matter expert and provide sustaining support to collaboration tools including Gather, Slack, Quip, Box, Webex and Wrike.
Develop programs and policies that advance effective and secure use of collaboration tools by AppleCare
Evangelize the benefits of collaboration tools across the organization to increase adoption and efficiency gains
Identify and communicate tool standard methodologies to user community
Be the liaison between business teams, Operations, and IS&T to ensure that business requirements are complete and met by proposed technology solutions
Appropriately report on the status of collaboration platforms or projects
Measure progress with existing analytics and identify new data requirements to be shared with IS&T product owners
Work with other Support Operations & Technologies platforms teams to explore opportunities that better leverage our tools (e.g. workflows, integrations, bots, connectors, automation, etc.)
Partner with IS&T Collaboration and Productivity team to:
Understand and influence collaboration tools roadmaps
Clarify AppleCare-related restrictions, best-practices, documentation, etc.
Evaluate and prioritize production issues to ensure resolution

Education & Experience

BS/BA or equivalent experience required. Certification and training in Agile, SCRUM, Business Analysis or Project Management preferred.
