The IT Collaboration team at Intel is seeking an innovative and passionate engineer to join us in delivering customer-centered collaboration experiences for Intel. In this role, you will work with a team of architects, engineers, and UX partners to design and deliver secure Microsoft 365 and other industry workflow collaboration platform solutions and features for Intel.

As a Cloud Collaboration Engineer your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Delivering subject matter expertise on Microsoft 365 and competing collaboration solutions with emphasis in Teams, SharePoint, security, architectural design, migration, management, in support of strategic planning, design, configuration, implementation and integration with partnering technologies and security applications.
  • Evaluating new Microsoft 365 capabilities and features and make recommendations.
  • Providing Microsoft 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
  • Documenting system configurations, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintaining a highly secure Microsoft 365 system through proper configuration.
  • Maintaining expertise on Microsoft 365, including changes and updates, roadmap and releases, industry best practices and third-party solutions.
  • Configuring and customizing SharePoint, Teams, and other systems according to company specifications.
  • Partnering with Information Security to establish Microsoft 365 access monitoring.
  • Recommending and implementing governance techniques.
  • Working in Kanban, Scaled Agile, and DevOps development methodologies
  • Equipping support partners to support your solutions and providing engineering level support when required.

In addition the ideal candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral skills:

  • Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and self-sufficient


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of global enterprise experience with emphasis on the following areas:

  • Microsoft server administration (AD, security, etc.)
  • Configuration of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Intune, Azure AIP and DLP
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting

Preferred Qualifications:

Global enterprise experience with the following:

  • Intune (Conditional Access \ MDM \ MAM)
  • Clients (Outlook, Outlook for Mac, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices)
  • Office 365 tenant architecture
  • Permissions (Tenant \ Security and Compliance Center \ Exchange Online)
  • Information Security Integration (access controls, data protection)
  • Systems Support

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
