The Global Security Services (GSS) organization is charged with the oversight of DoD security compliance as a Defense Contractor within Industry. In the interest of National Security, the protection of classified material entrusted to Raytheon is of utmost importance and reinforces our commitment to the protection of our Warfighters, the Nation, and its Allies.
Primary duties for this Team Lead position will include working in the Classified and Sensitive Material Management (CSMM) office and leading the CSMM team of Security professionals in the execution of compliance for all classified and sensitive material under Raytheons control. The team provides guidance and support to Raytheon personnel in ensuring compliance with company policy, directives, work instructions, as well as, the NISPOM, DoD Policy and Directives, Executive Orders, ITAR and EAR.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interface with the government customers and employees at all levels. The candidate should be effective at organizing and prioritizing customer/management requests within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Organizational skills to include attention to detail, time management and ability to multi-task are a high priority. Strong communications skills both written and oral to a wide variety of personnel. Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and customer service skills required. Must be a self-starter and capable of working with a limited level of supervision and guidance, be committed to continuous learning and professional development, and work well as a member of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
The CSMM Leaders responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    1. Leading the CSMM team, managing processes, planning and establishing CSMM-related goals and objectives
    2. Managing work schedules, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
    3. Participating in and managing the day-to-day CSMM duties
    4. Becoming being well-versed in and able to articulate company and government security requirements
    5. Communicating with parties within and outside of own job function which will include external customers
    6. Collaborating with CSMM team members, leadership, organizational and enterprise level teams to create/update instructions, organizational directives and forms
    7. Ensuring data integrity through frequent database and file reviews
    8. Participating on interview panels

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field, or additional 2 years of relevant Security experience maybe substituted for each 1 year of college.
  • Sr. Security Supervisor (M3) 5 years of professional relevant Security experience, with a Bachelors degree, 13 years of professional relevant Security experience without a Bachelors degree.
  • Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
  • Must have strong leadership, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • An active and in-scope Secret Security US Clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Qualifications We Value:

  • Provide direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents
  • Classified Document Control experience
  • Data entry experience
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon Global Security Services tool sets, e.g., Access Commander, Perspective, eSecurity, and VRS
  • Certified Industrial Security Professional or similar related certification
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working with a limited level of supervision and guidance
  • Organizational skills to include: attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask

Clearance Information:
This position a Secret Security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
