Job Description

Come and be a part of the team creating SoC and chipset designs and products for Intel Architecture! This is a position in the Chipset Silicon Group, performing security research and verification on CSG SOCs. The engineer will be responsible for secure design, development and operation of Intel's hardware and software products and services.


General responsibilities may include threat assessment, design of security components, and vulnerability assessment. Also, you will develop plans, cost estimates, and access / analyze security risks to products.
 

Specific responsibilities and exposure include:

  • Working cross team with architects and design engineers to compose security requirements and implementation

  • Development of comprehensive expertise in the security domain, methods, and tools, and training the larger team

  • Creation of security validation plan

  • Creation, evolution, deployment, and utilization of engineering framework to validation platform designs

  • Evaluation and Inspection of CSG designs and potential security architectural defects via security plan execution, design review, and simulation of attack scenarios


Qualifications

Minimum Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience or a Masters with 2+ years experience or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with the following experience:

  • SOC validation and debug (pre-silicon / post-silicon)

  • Simulation-based tools in a SystemVerilog environment

  • Computer architecture and SOC / platform behavior

  • Security (threat modeling, SDL, secure design, static analysis)
