In this key role, you will support the service inventory planning for a variety of Apple's service channels across multiple lines of business. You are a highly motivated self-starter keen on crafting new relationships. You will partner with our channel planning teams in-region and in support of our field service teams in the pursuit of world-class CSAT via high service stock availability.

Our team works cross-functionally to manage the supply of Apple products to key AppleCare Service Partners across all geographies. We identify and analyze demand trends at both macro and micro levels and work closely with internal teams (such as Channel Support Planning, Service Material Planning, Channel Solutions, Service Order Management, Field Service and Logistics) to manage the planning and replenishment process for our Retail stores, authorized service providers, repair centers, and enterprise service engagements globally

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years planning experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent English communication skills required -- both verbal & written
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective relationships in a cross-functional/cultural team environment
  • Ability to articulate key points in a clear and succinct manner
  • Flexibility and prioritization of key tasks, ensuring timely completion
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of SAP/ ERP systems
  • Experience in Oracle Demantra planning systems or equivalent a plus
  • Experience in high volume service environment in a similar role a plus

Description

Working as part of an extraordinary team, you will own multiple channels, Geos, and product lines to ensure we are meeting our core fill rate and inventory metrics. You possess an analytical, forecasting and planning background with a consistent track record of delivering extraordinary results.

Flexibility and capability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, cross-functional and multi-cultural environment are important. We are looking for an ambitious individual with an excellent understanding of Supply Chain who will help to deliver a first-class AppleCare customer experience.
- Lead variety of service planning channels and product lines to achieve best in class fill rates and inventory metrics
- Lead the deployments of new products into all managed channels per guidance from the product readiness teams. Lead the de-stocking of excess, vintage or obsolete service inventory as needed
- Coordinate the quarterly inventory buy-back process in partnership with distribution planners
- Work collaboratively to ensure channel fill rate maintains at or above prescribed targets,
- Minimize stock-outs and reduce inventory returns via proactive communication and target stock level adjustments
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with our key partners, internally & externally
- Ensure service supply planners requests and concerns are addressed appropriately within the agreed timelines
- Hold weekly operations reviews with each of our internal partners
- Provide weekly KPI update to management on each your managed channels and product lines
- On board new partners from a service supply chain aspect
- Understand the goals of the entire organization and actively participate in the achievement of these
- Provide feedback to the channel planning and materials planning teams to ensure adequate supply in the channel and, as needed, communicating shortages to our channel partners
- Identify and drive potential process improvements opportunities

Education & Experience

B.S. degree in industrial engineering, operations or other relevant technical degree and 5+ years in a service, manufacturing or logistics operation or Masters degree with a minimum of 3 years experience.
