Marcom is Apple's Global Marketing Communications group. The Channel Cross-Functional group overseas the tactical development of product presentation strategies for all routes to markets. These materials are developed for use by our field teams and reseller partners to ensure the success of our new store openings, retrofits and product launches.
The Channel Cross-Functional Merchandising team is looking for an experienced merchandising manager to execute strategies for Apple products and accessories in partnership with the Worldwide Creative Visual Merchandising team and oversee the development and communication of merchandising guidelines.

Key Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience in retail merchandising
  • Able to recognize and easily speak to the strategies of merchandising
  • Flexible, organized, eager, passionate and has exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to think critically and problem solve
  • Successful at leading complex projects in an efficient manner
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly matrixed organization
  • Keen ability to multi-task, with proven efficiency working under pressure

Description

Work with Worldwide Creative Visual Merchandising team to understand/establish merchandising strategy
Partner with in-house vendor to implement merchandising strategy across various fixtures
Communicate new elements needed for merchandising to operations team
Inform and review all merchandising deliverables for launch
Create comprehensive merchandising briefings for GEO teams
Support new programs with new planograms based on merchandising strategies
Inform Store Planning teams on visual merchandising strategies and priorities
Review merchandising strategies for NSOs
Partner with cross-functional teams on new initiatives which impact merchandising and deliverables
Work cross-functionally on any new fixture or display elements in development
Handle cross-program special projects

Education & Experience

BA or BS degree preferred
